can anyone point me to a way in which i could create a newsletter with similar featrues to the mx newsletter with interakt mx pro?

I never had the newsletter extention so I don't know what it could or couldn't do.

I used this here from Line Craft Studios and combined it with nexttensio forms and lists using KTML editor to do the primary editing.
Basically I just use the send function and the dynamic personalisation of each news letter from this extension. The rest is controlled by standard interakt stuff.

The Line Craft extension was modified quite a bit to enable me to record news letters sent with the ability to resend (only un-send letter) if the batch was interrupted. As well as dynamically inserting a bit of code in each letter to report basic stats on newsletters being opened, when and how many times. This is not fool-prove as a number of email clients suppress this level of automatic reporting.
