Dreamweaver CS 6 - MX Kollection Pro

Hi guys, I'm having an issue I hope one of you can help me with. My XP computer blew up so have upgraded to a new one that runs windows 8.1. But now my old version of Dreamweaver 8 won't work properly or is not compatible with windows 8.1. So I guess I have to upgrade Dreamweaver which I'd probably go to CS 6 as I don't want to use Dreamweaver CC. Can MX Kollection Pro be installed in Dreamweaver CS 6?

Any help appreciated.

I've not heard of anyone getting MX Kollection Pro working in CS6

Hi energylevels2012,

yes your correct. I can't get it to work & it says the extension is not compatible even after converting it from MXP to ZXP. So will try installing both my old Dreamweaver 8 (run Kollection in there)& Dreamweaver CS6.

Try this:

1) Convert Kollection MXP file to new Adobe extentsion format (ZXP), you need the CS6 extrnsion manager to do this .. tools > convert mxp extenions

2) Extract the contents of the ZXP with WinRAR

2) Copy the exstracted folders and files to your Dreamweaver CC configuration folder.

I manage to install it on DW CS6 but there is a Java file which does not function after CS4 and for this reason it does not work.
