Any help files/documentation on MX Calendar still out there? I know its ancient, I just wanted to check how to get the recurring events working ...

Not that I know of.

The selectors are the following:
day, week, month, year

So if the script sees "week" in the query results, it will display the item weekly with the "start date" as the first instance and the "end date" as the last instance.
