File Upload Required Field

I have been using Interakt extension for some time and currently have ADDT with DW CS3. My requirement is to make selecting a file in the FileField compulsory so that the form cannot make a Db entry cannot be made without uploading and renaming a file.

I would be very grateful for any assistance.

Isn't it as simple as making the field a required field when setting the form verification on the form?

Thanks for the suggestion Fred. However I can find Required Field Setting facility for other Fields but not for a FileField. Hence my problem.

Interesting, wonder why they removed this from ADDT. In the old Interakt version I can set a file field to be required.
Sorry I used the wrong wording. it is not "verification" but "validate".

What you could do is to add a "Throw Error" SB to the field and apply it to the Update and Insert transactions of the type "Before"
