Hi,
are there any problems running PHP 5.4? This morning I got a message from my provider that they switch the next months?
Best wishes

Re: PhP 5.4
No idea I suggest you get a php 5.4 hosting package for a month or two from someone else to test it before your host switches or switch providers.
Personally I will still wait a while before I upgrade permanently to 5.4 on my servers.

yes, it's the 1. April they switch. Do you know if the extensions still run in PHP 5.4?

I have no idea.rks or
Like I said, I would suggest get a small account running on 5.4 somewhere for a month and see if it works or change supplier.
My feeling is it is to soon. Even Hostgator is not on 5.4 yet. And when they are ready they will run a dual installation like they currently do with 5.2 and 5.3 on their shared servers. http://support.hostgator.com/articles/h ... re/php-5-4
At least it give you the opportunity to test any applications.
I have the same approach on my servers. With a simple 2 lines of code in the .htaccess file a client can switch between 5.2 and 5.3
Seems with a similar type of hack you can get 5.4 on a 1 and 1 account http://faq.1and1.co.uk/scripting/php/5.html
